Thanks for welcoming me a Head and Neck Cancer Survivor to your monthly meeting. I really enjoyed the meeting. Your all all an inspiration to me a survivor of stage 3 tonsil cancer as I enter into the next stage of my cancer journey as a survivor. I am impressed with the strength and positive energy you all have. I hope to see you at the next montly meeting. And also would like to come to watch your practice on Clear Lake on the 5th so I can see first hand what Dragon boat racing is all about.

What a wonderful idea that someone had come up with. I found out about the pink phurree last weekend at the Relay for Life, my first event. I myself have been in remission for 3 months now. I'm glad I attended the Survivor Lap, it was a wonderful feeling and to meet so many great women! I would love to join the team, hopefully I'll be able to get on board. Thanks to Tarshia for filling me in on everything and making me feel welcome. Sending my prayers and love to all!
